MaiRie Étoile's Summer Party

Many of you probably know MaiRie Étoile, owner of one of the most popular families in Ameba Pico. Today was her Summer Party and I was in the waiting list among 50 other people to get into Room 4 of her house. I got disconnected somehow and waited even longer to get in... When I finally was done waiting the party was over but, I still got to see her :)
Then, Pico started lagging like crazy and I had to reload. 
Is it only me? It seems like Pico has been lagging a lot recently.

Oh, and one more thing! We passed 7k views! Awesomeness!

Short Interview: Gold Digger Babies

Today I met a friend, кєη « ρєρsι «. I met her while at Tomley's beach. There was a baby that said she needed a mommy. кєη « ρєρsι « volunteered but the baby proclaimed her: "Not hot enough." Then, I guess she saw that Ken had a puppy and tried to get Ken to be her mommy afterwards. The baby got rejected.
So that's the backstory of this interview. It's a bit short because I had stuff to do.

Q: What is your definition of gold digger babies?

кєη « ρєρsι «: Babies that look for parents who are rich.

Q: How did you first encounter one?

кєη « ρєρsι «: When I went to an adoption center. I asked if I can be her mother, the first thing she did was go to my house and then come back and then said "Shure."

Q: And your reaction?

кєη « ρєρsι «: My reaction was:  -_____________-

Q: Do they have any distinctive characteristics?

кєη « ρєρsι «: I don't think so...

Chrysalis™: So, I guess, you have to be more careful.

New Pets That Were Already in Pigg

Pico released some new pets today and boy... Alot of people are excited! I've seen them around Ameba Pigg but I'm glad Ameba Pico is starting to have newer Pigg stuff. I'm just confused on one thing. They look a lot like raccoons but, they are only possibly related to them. Anyhow, these 'Red Pandas' cost 500 AG and they come in 10(WOW!) colors. So far, I've only seen a black one in Pet Farm. I really want to see a hot pink one someday... Their pet food is 600 GM like others and they apparently eat acorns. I don't know if I want to adopt one. I think I'm content with Munchkin and I would have to spend more gummies on food. I don't know...

Disney Princesses/Princes + A Minnie Mouse

Yay! I was in one of these picture collages in Angelina Fannie's page: https://www.facebook.com/angelinafannie! Every day, or other day, she makes a special model event in her room usually with a theme. That time it was Disney Princesses/Princes(but there was a Minnie Mouse). It was really fun seeing all the outfits and doing the photo-shoot. So, can you tell which is me?

My New Wig!

Fufu... This is my new favorite outfit, guys. Just saying :)

Partly because of the wig. Hehe.

So, today, I scoured Pico for fashionable people wearing the new wigs.

First up, ひかる Yukihime.

She paired the Pink Twintail Wig with the Kimono Wig in the Sakura Room. Such a great idea! I'm not the only one who thinks she looks adorable, I'm sure.

Next, is αѕdғgнjĸl♥.

She's also wearing the Twintail Wig but, I love her outfit so much! Isn't it the perfect girly, rocker chic combo? The boa is a very nice touch :)

That's all I could find... Not many people are purchasing the new wigs; I guess it's because the price.

Ohmygods. When I saw this, I was like, I HAVE TO HAVE THAT DRESS.
Then, I was all happy because I can make it with my second account! I just love how it looks super simple and elegant, too. Well, this is how it turned out:

A List of Things I Hate in Pico

1. Hot or Not's- What's the point of them? They judge your clothes and put you in a category. You know what? Under those clothes and wigs, we look about the same. Today I went to one of these events and the owner was saying: "No-Pants Day! Support the newbies!" while she assigned them(the newbies) to the 'Not' section. Like... what? That doesn't even make sense. How are you supporting them like that? So, from this day on, I won't go into Hot or Not's anymore. I can describe them in one word: pointless.

2. Weird Statuses-

Uh... No.

3. Token Items Becoming AG Items- You know, Ameba Pico, first time users of your site probably don't want to buy AG just yet. When they see your shabby, overpriced Gummi clothing selection, I'm positive they will quit.

4. Gachas- I know I said this a bunch of times but, I'd rather buy the item than maybe or maybe not getting it by spinning the gacha.

5. Casino Challenges- Ehh... Maybe I don't hate them, but they're getting pretty annoying.

6. Scammers/Hackers- I've been targeted a few times. The best advice from me to you is: Say no, no matter what.

FINALLY! New Shop!

Yay! A bunch of new items we can actually buy! Apparently, these were imported from Ameba Pigg(the older Japanese version of this game) but, who cares? Now Pico has it! The wigs are so expensive... 330 AG? Urgh. Though, I like how Pico finally added some more colors like purple and platinum blonde!

There's also a new dance move for 200 AG. In my opinion, it looks jerky and unnatural and weird.

Overall though, I'm really satisfied about the new shop.

Sapphire Silver Casino Challenge

You know, when I saw this picture of the challenge, I was really excited.








And then, I read this and was really disappointed because instead of the fabulous crown in the picture, we girls get a stupid sapphire ribbon. The dress isn't that amazing either. AND, the wig isn't included.

Why do only the boys get the crown? Huh?

Another Way To Earn Ameba Gold

Well, this can only be used if you have a Facebook Account AND an iPod/iPhone or an Android.

Alright, on to the how-tos. 

1. Go on to Pico via Facebook and click 'Earn Ameba Gold'

2. Go to the 'Free' category and you'll see that there are two Appdog offers there. One for Android users and one for iPod/iPhone users.

Note: The iPod/iPhone one awards you 15 credits.

3. Click on either one(I have an iPod so I used the iPod/iPhone one) and enter in your email.

4.  Check your email and click on the link it sent you.

5. Log in to your Facebook within the link.

6. Now, you see a page with a bunch of offers. Basically for this app, you download other apps and it rewards you a certain number of bones (the currency used in this app). You can delete the apps later if you want but, for Appdog to reward you, you HAVE to open them before you delete them. You can convert bones to Facebook Credits which you can use to purchase Ameba Gold. 

Remember: 10 bones = 1 Facebook Credit

The apps with the money symbol next to it means it costs money to download. There are many pages of free apps, though

7. Once you earned enough bones, redeem them and when it has been credited to your Facebook account, it wil send you an email saying so.

By the way, if you redeem a number like 123 bones, you will still have 3 bones left over.

I was pretty skeptical of this method at first... it's true. However, it proved itself's worth in a matter of time.

My AG Spending Spree!

So, recently I got 2,000 AG (see below) by getting Netflix,and with the help of Chrysalis, I went on a spending spree!

Her name is Ichigo because, she reminds me of a strawberry and ichigo is japanese for strawberry. That was a really awesome AG spree and I hope I gave you some ideas of what to buy when you get yours! 

New Gacha Panel!

Hmm... A new Gacha Panel. I'm going to let a Meme tell you my opinion:

Not bad, indeed, Mr. Barack Obama. It tells you what items are rare and actually shows all the items in the Gacha! It seems this new panal only apples to newer Gachas... Well, at least it is comforting to know that Pico isn't taking a step backwards.

Us Pico-fied!

Chrysalis™ and I have decided it's time to show you how we look...sort of. We are gonna show you how we look pico-fied. Meaning the pico version of our real selves. First up is me.

Personally my hair is always really messy and sorta straight. I have gray-green eyes and light brown hair:

Next up is Chrysalis™. She has black hair and it's straighter than mine. She has hazel eyes and her hair isn't as messy as mine (lucky!).

Hope this gives you a better sense at how we look like!

I have a Domo Hoodie and you probably don't! Before you go searching for this adorable hoodie, I should mention that this is edited.
How?
I don't know but, Ameba Studios does!
Every month, they have a 'Request' option on their blog (http://amebastudiosblog.blogspot.com/p/request_27.html) where we can request them to edit us hoodies and more! However, the number of edits are limited and the ones that cost GM go really fast! Hurry if you want the Rilakuma Hoodie because they're only editing two! The Domo Hoodie and the Swing are also some other options.
